Week 2

In my first week of Web Design, I finally opened up Fireworks! I wasn’t sure what to expect, I had no idea what or how to use it. Turns out it was easier then I thought. It’s not as good as Illustrator though!
I created two Facebook cover photos, which was complicated at first. I had to consider what could be seen after the profile picture was placed and text was set. Color was a big consideration since text was required so I had to make sure it was readable. Then relate what my message was with pictures or anything visual.I stuck with my first notion of focusing on the idea of transportation, that the farm would bring the food to your door. So the idea of a truck, tractor or large transport truck as the background with the required text around it.

I learned web design is harder then it looks and required attention to fine details. Making sure pictures are the right resolution, consider text relationship with colors in your photo choice and the general layout out of the work. The layout can make or break the message you’re trying to convey.
